This listing is for a prewired set of XH type (aka XH-2.5, JST-XH) through hole wire-to-board connectors, YOU MUST CHOOSE 2, 3, 4 or 5 pole, if you don't tell me, I can't send it!

XH Connectors have a 2.50mm pin pitch* and can carry about 3A Maximum. They are commonly used for power from batteries (2p) and balancing connectors (3p+) of course you can also use them for data, or servos or motors or potentiometers or anything.... that's kinda how connectors work, they connect things, who knew.

Each "item" you buy gets you a pack (you choose, 2, 3, 4 or 5 pole) containing:

1 of PCB mount pin header (straight (vertical), if you would prefer right-angle (horizontal) ask before buying and I'll see if I have any) 1 of plug with wires already attached (total length about 15cm from plug end to wire end)

It's a lot easier than crimping your own XH connectors that's for sure, especially if you only need less than 15cm of length, then you don't have to even do any wire joining.

• Often XH connectors are incorrectly specified as 2.54mm because lots of people will search for that. They (XH connectors) really are 2.5mm if you are doing it properly and I like to do things properly, but to be fair 2.54mm is close enough that it's not going to make any difference and your hole-tolerance itself will easily take up the 0.08mm difference each side on a 5p connector... +/-0.04mm is probably way less than the tolerance of the pins themselves anyway.
