Agilent E4406A VSA transmitter tester is a full-featured vector signal analyzer (Spectrum Analyzer, I/Q Analyzer, Adjacent Channel Power). Specified frequency range is 7MHz to 4GHz a good wide spread for amateur or professional use.

Maximum front panel Spectrum Analyzer frequency span is 10MHz. However a big feature of this model is its ability to quickly export large chunks of signal data from its network interface. This application http://ve2zaz.net/InstrCtl/InstrCtl.htm captures and displays a full 4GHz span in around 90 seconds – 400 x 10MHz chunks!

It is also possible to use it with Keysight 89600 VSA software – a comprehensive set of tools for signal demodulation and vector signal analysis.

As you can see, this unit is in great condition. It has rear panel RF input. I don't have a front panel input kit. For bench mounting, handles and feet can be ordered for around $150. Agilent 82357B USB/GPIB High-Speed USB 2.0 Interface with CD also available for $210.

This is a complicated bit of high end kit that HP specifies for calibration / verification of their other analyzers like 8920, 8921, 8924, 8935, E8285A and more. Google for more detailed information.
