Description
This is a popular SDR transceiver design project by M0NCK that has been around for few years. There is a large community developing the software and hardware. This one has a fairly late bootloader v3.0.0 & firmware v2.0.0. UI & RF is v0.4. Full alloy enclosure with stand and alloy knobs.
I purchased this as a kit with all SMD parts factory populated. Everything is working except the transmitter. If you TX, it shuts down so I suspect RF is getting into somewhere. The nature of mcHF is that it is for experimenters and as such many many modifications exist. One of the photos shows the RF PCB where you can see my attempt to copy some of the popular RF PA mods that isn't working. Fixing this has been on the todo list for some time and I have seen another toy so this needs to go to a good home. Brief specifications follow, to find out more google mcHF.
