A fascinating, individually-carved set of chess men. They range in height from 12.5cms to 7.5cms. They are made of wood and each has a felt base to prevent scratching the board. The pieces are stored in drawers which fit under the board and it folds up so it can be carried by the handles. A very neat and compact arrangement. The board is 48cms x 48cms and has a tiled surface. Alternate tiles are etched and painted.
