This auction is for a faulty PS3 console with original manual and a power cable.

Firstly about the console. I bought it last year knowing it had this fault. I followed a YouTube video opened it up, cleaned everything, re-flowed the board with a heat gun, then reapplied a cheap thermal paste. The console worked after I put it together. I left it for a week and it would not turn on. It had the same fault as before. I reckon a proper re-flow of the board and good thermal paste it will be all good to go but I just can't be bothered, that's why I'm selling it.

In the last photo you can see a part of the plastic case has fallen off. When I got this console I realized this piece had its plastic under clips broken and was glued on. It fell off recently and I haven't been bothered gluing it back. It's an easy fix.
