WARNINGS

• Keep from young children! If two or more are swallowed they can be lethal, by attracting across gut tissue and puncturing it.
• The material is brittle so it can chip or break if magnets crash together.
• For sensitive devices (e.g. credit cards, pacemakers, magnetic recording), keep at a sensible distance, i.e. where the field is negligible.

PRODUCT DETAILS

This is a pack of 120 tiny, really powerful (for their size), neodymium, "rare earth" magnets.

Strength Rating: N52, the strongest magnet material made. Many magnets are N35 (even when specified as N45!) which is a considerably weaker grade. One magnet releases another (or 0.38mm steel sheet) at about 130 grams before it releases. Between two sheets of steel, 420 grams! A single magnet can hold up one (actually two - just) A4 sheet on a whiteboard, but they are too small to easily to remove. For easy-to-handle magnets on whiteboards, I recommend our D6x6mm, use in pairs. Or D4x4 in threes.

Dimensions: 3mm diameter and 1mm thick. They are plated nickel over copper over nickel for durability.

• Frictionless spring (either tension or compression)
• Triggering reed switches and other actuators
• Warhammer etc. For attaching parts of models or for Movement trays.
