This book is an omnibus of the original Horus Heresy art books that were released before the novel series was a thing. They are chock full of art, primarily that created for the Fantasy Flight card game, with various bits of text inserted between pictures to tell the story of the Heresy. It is a beautiful book with a very wide range of art from lots of different artists. Just a heads up that the original four volumes of 'Visions of Heresy' that form this book were released before the popular Horus Heresy novels so I think there are a few small variations from the story as it stands now.
