Our Fire Safety Guards are designed to stop children entering in to the "Danger" area of your Log Burner or Gas Heated Fire. They are suitable for both Freestanding and In-built Fires.

They are constructed from Heavy Duty 6mm Rod for the Frame and the Mesh is manufactured using 2.50mm wire. The pitch of the Mesh is 25 x 75mm. The finish is Powder Coated Black. The standard height is 750mm.

The guards are light weight which makes it easy to install and remove when not required. The guards are easy for an adult to move away from the fire by lifting it out of one of the wall attachments and sliding it away from the fire. This will give you easy access to the immediate area around the fire for putting wood in or cleaning. The Guard panels are hinged together so storing the guard is easy.

The guards are mounted to your wall at the back of your Burner / Heater by two Eye Screws (supplied). Depending on your requirements we will supply you with either a Plaster Board or Masonry insert to go into the mounting holes that you will drill.

We do not recommend putting a door in our guards as it compromises the safety aspect of your Fireguard. Avoiding the situation of a child getting in to the "Danger" area is the whole point of Fireguard.
