Description
Be the proud new owner of this fantastic piece of history.
Instruction Book: One of a kind (well there probably were many more sitting in someones bottom drawer somewhere) antique instruction manuals with retro chic looking pictures. this little gem has great operational tips like "avoid overdrying" and a whole section on "loading" your dryer. no longer in print, this rare first edition will have you laughing and crying with complex plot twists and enthralled to the last page - you'll never guess the ending.
Dryer: Model 410 Fisher and Paykel 70L compact clothes dryer More than 35 years old and still going strong, this classic dryer will spin, heat and blow air onto your wet clothes until the moisture magically disappears from their surface - where does it go? Thats the magic part - nobody knows except some top level scientists at NASA. It features an auto stop switch and a timer as well as this nifty plug keeper - why don't they make things like this anymore? Its a true 70L, 70's icon back from the good old days
The winner of this auction will walk away with these two lovely pieces that should really be in a museum but I cant find the phone number for Te Papa listed in the 2002 Auckland whitepages so I have listed them here instead and hope they will go to a loving new home where they will be given pride of place and loved as much as we have loved them.
