ONE 4KG CONTAINER OF STABILISED GRANULAR CHLORINE FOR SWIMMING POOLS (SDIC).
This represents great value for money. This product which is commonly known as "Dichlor" contains stabiliser (sometimes called Sunscreen) so you do not need to buy and use stabiliser (cyanuric acid). Your pool will be sanitised and stabilised at the same time.
Although this product does not need to be pre-dissolved and can be sprinkled on the pool we DO recommend that you pre-dissolve. This especially if you have a vinyl or similar liner as chlorine in direct contact with these can cause bleaching of the liner.
USAGE REGULAR USE Use 2-4 grams per 1,000 litres. So for a 2,000 litre Spa or small backyard pool that are becoming popular you would use 4-8 grams. For a 10,000 litre pool you would use 20-40g.
Allow to circulate through your filter for a few hours and test chlorine levels to ensure they are at the correct levels and adjust if necessary.
SHOCK DOSING At the start of the pool season or other times you can shock dose. Use 30-40g per 1,000 litres So for a 2,000 litre Spa or small backyard pool that are becomming popular you would use 60-80 grams. For a 10,000 litre pool you would use 300-400g.
As our Granular Pool Chlorine contains stabiliser this can build up during the course of the season so it is recommended that at least one shock does is performed using a non-stabilised chlorine or similar.
