I enclosed an demo photo shot by iphone 6s, the monitor resolution is 1920*1080. Hikvision camera quality and optimization algorithm is better than other brand cheap cameras although they are both 2MP camera. Just as iphone image quality is better than most android phone with the same spec camera.

many people ask me about 4MP camera, of couse 4MP is good, but before purchasing you should consider if you need it. The 4MP can take effect almost only when you connect the CCTV system to a 4K monitor. Most users only use mobile phone for daily viewing, the mobile phone screen is small, HD is far more enough for mobile viewing, nowadays there is no CCTV app for 4K stream viewing. 4MP raw data resolution is 2592x1520, compare with 1920*1080, the price doubled, but the effect not doubled. From my viewing, it is around 20-30% improvement.
