This is a piece that could do with a bit of love and attention; it would make for a brilliant restoration project - it just needs a couple of links replaced (and one, single missing marcasite stone). It's a colonial NZ piece of pounamu (Aotearoa NZ greenstone / jade) set in solid sterling silver, set with small sparkling marcasite stones.

The silver isn't stamped which is sometimes the case with colonial pieces, but I have had it professionally tested by a local bullion dealer using their precious metals XRF analysis equipment for peace of mind and it's definitely solid 925 silver, not plated.

Aside from the two missing links and single missing marcasite stone, it's in good order with just some age appropriate wear per the photos. It latches closed securely and is complete with the original safety chain.

It has a weight of 29.6g, and measures 170mm in length, so would suit someone younger, or with a slender wrist.
