A bit of interesting back-story about this piece. It was one of many that came from a long defunct jewellery shop that closed down in the very early 1980s. All of the unsold stock from the late 1970s/early 80s was then stuck in boxes in a garage until around 2015 when they were bought as part of a family estate.

This piece, despite being over 40 years old, is still effectively "new", never worn, in the original box. It's sterling silver with a gold plating, with a nice amethyst gemstone set in it. I'm not sure about the chain, it's still secured/packed on the back, so I can't see any markings.

The pendant drop is 29mm in length. Not sure of the weight but I think probably around 2g, give or take.

An inexpensive, genuinely vintage piece, never worn, with that attractive 70s/early 80s aesthetic!
