For the last 50 years, Hamilton watches have been manufactured in Bienne, Switzerland.

WHAT I LIKE The warm, smoky elements give this timepiece an elegant yet masculine look. The fine sunburst dial pattern subtly refracts light and changes colour with the movement of your wrist (you’ll see this variation in the photos). These colours look super classy against the rose gold plated case.

Powered by the iconic ETA 2892-A2 movement (Omega, TAG Heuer, Panerai etc). This top-of-the-line ETA has 21 jewels and beats at 28,800 vph. It’s an exceptionally robust automatic that delivers accuracy and reliability. Power reserve of 42 hours. The bi-directional rotor makes for efficient winding while on your wrist (or simply use the crown).

WHAT I DON’T LIKE If you follow my listings, you’ll know that I always highlight something that I don’t like. For this watch, a very tricky task! Perhaps the hands could be dauphine-shaped as opposed to a straight baton. Just a thought (in case the folks at Hamilton are watching . . . . )
