Vintage Tip-Top ladies watch
Stamped as Swiss Made this was most likely assembled in NZ in the early 70s from all Swiss parts. A number of New Zealand jewellers did this at the time to circumvent tariffs with the Baaz brand being the most prominent of these.
This is a really nice little watch with a really cool mother-of-pearl ring on the dial. It’s a manual wind, anti-magnetic AS movement which is running and keeping quite good time, although it hasn’t been serviced so reliability can’t be guaranteed.
