Due to an internal promotion, we require someone who can hit the ground running and who is a dynamic and experienced Senior Accounts Administrator with strong accounting skills to oversee a wide and varied range of financial and administrative responsibilities.
The role:
- Efficiently handle administrative tasks related to financial operations
- Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Reconcile various general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial data
- Manage and oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
- Implement strategies for debtor collections
- Process fortnightly payroll for 120+ staff, from start to finish
- Assisting with on-boarding documents & training programme
- Collaborate with team members as needed, providing and undertaking other finance or admin tasks as needed
- Assist with month end processes, including ensuring appropriate close off
- Preparation of GST & payroll returns
- Potential to learn more than one accounting system & work across the group
About you:
- 3+ years bookkeeping and accounting experience
- Accounting Technician qualification is an advantage but not essential
- Thorough knowledge of accounting systems - Motor Vehicle DMS experience is an advantage but not essential
- A very high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- A positive can-do attitude and a high level of work ethic
- Be resilient and solution-orientated
- High integrity and respect for others
