The Role
Based in Invercargill, we are seeking a principled, experienced and detail-oriented Senior Finance Manager to join the Tyremax team.

As a key member of the business, you will be primarily responsible for leading and mentoring your team in conjunction with leadership and overseeing all aspects of financial management. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in senior financial positions of mid to large scale organisations and used to working collaboratively with a range of internal stakeholders as well as fostering key relationships with suppliers and customers. To be successful, you will have well developed interpersonal skills, a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and often dynamic environment. This is not a 'by the numbers' position in practice!

You will manage your team, but work closely and collaboratively with the Senior Leadership team, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer.

Your Key Responsibilities:

- Effectively mentor and coach direct reports providing training and development to fulfil their potential
- Understand and actively support the company mission and core values
- Prepare and present cross department management and financial reporting and analysis
- Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth financial and operational.
- Develop and maintain internal framework to ensure the integrity of financial information
- Collaborate with other departments and management to drive process and technology improvements and efficiencies
- Provide support for audits, contractual reviews and negotiations and other external reporting requirements

You will have:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and be CA ANZ or CPA qualified
- 5+ years experience in financial management roles, with a proven track record of success
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and deliver complex financial data
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial management software alongside strong written skills and capability
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a team and collaborate across departments
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
