Our client is looking for a passionate and hardworking team to start in June working in the horticulture industry. The ideal candidate will be helping with the overall day-to-day tasks of the nursery's operations including helping pack plants into boxes. This job is a casual roster working between Mon-Fri with no weekend work! This job is physically demanding with working outside rain or shine.
**Responsibilities:**
**-** Packing plants into boxes for transport
**-** Maintaining and caring for the plants
**-** Provide overall assistance with nursery operations
**Experience:**
-Previous experience in plant nursery work is preferred but not required
-physical lifting and the ability to work outdoors
-Able to work individually and within a team
**To be successful:**
-Be able to work outdoors rain or shine
-Be physically fit to lift boxes of plants
-Pass a pre-employment drug screen.
-Right to work in NZ.
