Are you a qualified automotive technician or have a proven background in mechanics? Do you enjoy working on a diverse range of Vehicles?
Our client is looking for their next automotive technician to join their specialised team in Ashburton. They are well known for their servicing of elite motor vehicles and no two jobs will be the same. You will hold either a current qualification or have a proven background in mechanics, with experience in electronic systems, diagnostic scanning equipment and be able to carry out all mechanical repairs unsupervised. The latest in diagnostic and re-coding equipment is used and up to date training is supplied.
The successful applicants will require:
• Qualification in automotive mechanics or a background in mechanics
• Diagnostic, mechanical, electric and hydraulic knowledge
• Passion for vehicles all shapes and sizes
• Good customer service skills
• A broad skill base across servicing and repairing
• Excellent work ethic
• Quality workmanship, neat and tidy
• Leadership and management skills an advantage but not essential
This role is a full-time position offering huge opportunity to be working in a modern and clean environment in the Ashburton area. Full ongoing training will be provided for the successful applicant.
