Construction General Labourer

We have clients with various projects in commercial or residential areas, including site clean-up, handling and carrying building materials, moving equipment between different levels, and following instructions from the site foreman.

This is a great opportunity to learn new skills and get your foot in the door with some great companies. We offer an opportunity for full-time ongoing work and fair/competitive rates with wages paid weekly. If you prove to be a reliable and hard-working person, you will get the opportunity to be upskilled and possibly secure a permanent position.

**Duties of the Role:**

• Ability to perform physical labour and other strenuous tasks.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Workers must be punctual and reliable.
• Assist equipment operators, carpenters, and other skilled laborers when necessary.
• Prepare construction sites by cleaning obstacles and hazards.
• Load or unload construction materials.
• Operate and care for construction equipment and machines.
• Assemble and dismantle temporary structures, such as scaffolding.
• Remove, fill, or compact earth.
• Follow instructions from supervisors.
• Assist craft workers.
• Perform site clean-up.
• Ready to learn from on-the-job training when necessary.
