Class 5 Driver

Our client is a reputable company currently seeking a qualified Class 5 driver to join their team. They are seeking an experienced driver who is proficient in operating all types of gearboxes as well as truck and trailer.

 

The Role:

This role is Monday to Friday- Candidates must demonstrate reliability and flexibility if there is over-time required.

• Drive and operate trucks and machinery in a professional and safe manner, always aware of your surroundings and conscious of the safety and wellbeing of others.
• Ensuring trucks and equipment comply with all transport regulations (i.e. COF, Rego)
• Maintaining trucks and equipment in a presentable condition

 

Skills and Attributes:

• Minimum Class 5 licence
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Truck Driver
• Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team.
• Experience in transporting, chip sealing and metal spreading will be an advantage.
• Civil construction knowledge will be beneficial.
• Flexibility to perform various daily tasks and grow with the team.
• Good understanding of site safety and hazard management
• Excellent communication with co-workers and management

 

Pay-Rate:

Salary band of $28.00-$30.00 commencement rate dependent on experience.
