Join our team in Silverdale as a Class 2 driver/Traffic Controller!

Are you ready to make a difference by ensuring the safety of motorists and construction workers alike? Our client is seeking Class 2 Drivers with experience in Traffic Control operations to fill crucial roles in managing traffic effectively. As a Traffic Controller with a Class 2 license, you'll be at the forefront of maintaining smooth traffic flow and implementing vital safety measures.

Role Overview:

  • Manage traffic and prioritize safety for motorists and construction personnel.
  • Implement and uphold traffic management plans with precision.
  • Direct vehicles efficiently and communicate effectively in dynamic environments.
  • Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, remain composed under pressure, and excel in teamwork.
  • Shifts are up to 12 hours and will vary between day/night shift on a weekly basis, successful candidates will be flexible and able to work around this. This rotation doesn't happen frequently, only when required.

Payrate:

$25-27 per hour, dependent on experience and certifications.

Requirements:

  • Clean Ministry of Justice (MOJ) record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening.
  • Traffic Controller (TC and TTM) certificate would be an advantage but not a must.
  • Traffic Management Operations (TMO) certificate would be an advantage but not a must.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours and adapt to changing conditions.
  • Knowledge of traffic control regulations and best practices.
  • Physical fitness to stand for extended periods, even in adverse weather conditions.
