Oji Fibre Solutions is one of New Zealand's leading manufacturers and suppliers of packaging solutions to a wide range of industries throughout the country. Our customers include blue chip manufacturers and marketers of packaging products to the food, primary produce, industrial and grocery sectors.

We're on the look-out for a new Customer Services Team Leader to manage our team of three; based at our Corrugated Case business in Mangere Bridge, Auckland. Oji Fibre Solutions are providers of innovative and high-quality cardboard packaging to the dairy, horticulture, industrial, beverage and food sectors.

Reporting to the Facility Manager, this critical role requires strong Leadership skills and experience managing a team in Customer Service, ideally from a manufacturing environment. Experience working within a busy manufacturing, packaging, print or FMCG environment is a must.

What we need:

  • An organised person, capable of multitasking and a superstar at prioritising
  • The ability to think on your feet, whilst working in a busy environment
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Quick learner who enjoys problem-solving and has strong analytical skills.
  • Accountable for your clients and skilled in self-management of day-to-day workload
  • Three plus years Leadership/ Team Leader experience within a client services role; ideally within Packaging, Print or Manufacturing environment.
  • Computer literate in Microsoft Office, Excel with exposure to, industry specific, Kiwiplan advantageous

What you will be doing:

  • Leading the Auckland based Customer Service Team of three
  • Liaising with clients from the initial enquiry, quotation and ordering stage, right through to the delivery of the product
  • Managing our high-profile client enquiries and being the driver to create solutions for them
  • Managing stock levels of finished goods for key customers
  • Working closely with the production, planning and distribution teams to meet our customers supply needs
  • Data entry - Quotes/ orders
  • Monthly reporting
  • Focus on continuous improvement
