Welder/Fabricator

Our client has a stable long-term role to fill, for an experienced mild steal welder / fabricator. Join a team of experienced light and heavy fabricators, with a company working on projects across NZ. Our clients project consists of refitting the services in buildings located in the CBD. These projects are largely mild steel piping being replaced with copper.


The role will require you to read engineering drawings, finish tasks to high standard, and follow timelines. You will be working in a small team among a site, with the freedom to find creative solutions on your own, as well as approach the knowledgeable team for advice on best practise.

Requirements:

• NZ citizen or resident (or open work visa)
• Provide two pre-employment references
• Pass pre-employment drug screen
• Experience in welding mild steel
• A minimum of 2 year's NZ experience
• Ability to read engineering drawings
