My client is seeking an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to step into their General Managers role within the dairy servicing industry. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the business.
If successful, you would be working for a forward-thinking company who provides exceptional dairy products and services across the Southland and South Otago region.
With staff spread across multiple branches, the successful applicant would need to provide consistent leadership, and demonstrate confidence whilst working and interacting with people from all walks of life.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have the following:
• Proven experience within the dairy/ agriculture sector is highly advantageous.
• The ability to track and trace trends within the business/ market and manage the workflows efficiently to deliver results.
• Exceptional customer service/ interpersonal skills.
• A health and safety conscious approach to all tasks.
• The drive to motivate, manage and lead a team to success within a highly competitive industry.
• The confidence to generate new business and create quotes, to close sales and secure sustainable relationships.
• Create and implement new business strategies to continue connecting with evolving market demands.
• A can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn.
In Summary, my client is open to training the right person. Previous managerial experience is advantageous but not essential for this role. If you have a great attitude, leadership qualities and skills within the dairy/ agricultural sector, please apply.
