Kia ora, we are after support workers in the wider Whangarei area, particularly people who can work weekends and are confident to drive long distances e.g. 45 minutes at a time.
What does a Support Worker do?
Our support workers are caring people with a commitment to providing the best possible support to our clients. Each client will have individual care requirements and you will support them with all elements of daily living such as personal care, food preparation, mobility or bowel/urinary continence care and ensure medication needs are met. You may also help our clients to participate in the community, undertake shopping for them or help them to take part in their hobbies.

What does a Support Worker do?

- Have a full/restricted driver's license.
- Be available to work weekends (at least one day)
- Genuinely love working with people who need support and seeing them thrive.
- Be intuitive and responsive to people's feelings and needs.
- Be open to working alongside families to create a good life for the client.

Pay Steps (Hourly)
- Level 0 $23.38 (No health and wellbeing equivalent qualifications)
- Level 2 $24.78 (For holders of level 2 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
- Level 3 $26.94 (For holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
- Level 4 $29.10 (For holders of level 3 health and wellbeing qualification or equivalent)
