**Calling all experienced Youth Workers!!!**
We are on the lookout for an experienced Youth Worker to join our Real Lakes Youth Service in Rotorua. A youth-focused early intervention program in the Lakes region operates within schools and the community, utilising both individual and group-based approaches.
You will align with our tikanga (principles) and kawa (practice) and support the clinical components of Whetu Marewa - Primary Mental Health.
***This is a part time position (24 hours a week).***

- an understanding of local community issues and of tikanga Maori.
- ability to develop and maintain internal and external key relationships.
- uphold the integrity and mana of both the taiohi and Kaupapa.
- the ability to work independently and innovatively to engage young people/taiohi and whanau.
- an inspiring and enthusiastic outlook on life.
- a current full New Zealand driver's licence.
- knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
