**The Role |?Mo tenei turanga mahi
** Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of our services (community mobile, respite, residential and recovery). Join us today and expand your skillset!
This varied role could see you working on a variety of different tasks:?
When working in a **respite service**?you would support wellbeing by providing a listening ear, supporting on site activities such as mindfulness, medication, maintaining a large home, cooking, cleaning and hosting visiting clinical teams.?
In our?**residential services**?you would be working alongside whai ora to achieve their goals which can include moving towards independence with appointments, shopping, cleaning, medication etc.
In our?**mobile community service**?you would undertake home based support that includes supporting people with household tasks, attending appointments, grocery shopping taking medication, physical activity and community engagement.?
In our?**enhanced mobile?community** teams?you would support whai ora in their own homes with individualised packages of support which may include such things as independence with daily living activity, including support with taking medication, meal planning and preparation, grocery shopping, gardening, household cleaning and exercise.
The hours of work are irregular and offered when available. We operate 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.???

**You |?Mou**
- A current full driver's licence
- A current first aid certificate or are you willing to obtain one
- For our respite services, applications must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent
- Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts
