We are looking for a Chef for a busy Indian cuisine restaurant and takeaway in New Plymouth.
Employment- full Time-Permanent
Wages-$30-$32/hr
Minimum Guaranteed hours-30 her/week
Location: New Plymouth, Taranaki
Responsibilities
.Planning menus and discussing food preparation issues with the Manager and
other kitchen staff
.Estimating food and labor costs
.Preparing, cooking & presenting high-quality dishes
.Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
.Managing & training Kitchen staff by demonstrating techniques and advising
on cooking procedures
.Ordering food supplies as per the requirements
.Ability to work without close supervision, possess knowledge and ability to run
a section
.Monitoring the quality of dishes at all stages of preparation and presentation
.Explaining and enforcing hygiene regulations

- The applicant must have at least three years of relevant experience
- Experience in cooking Indian cuisine
- Experience in cooking Tandoori and curry-style cooking
