Quest on Kilmore will be a 4 star accommodation, 42 room property to be located directly across the Christchurch town hall. The property is due to open in mid-July 2024 and will be Quest 4th location in Christchurch.

Your opportunity:

• Management of Front Office/Reception operations in a manner, which maximises the profitability of the business and in accordance with relevant Quest procedures and the Quest Way.
• Managing online bookings through Booking.com, Expedia, GDS, Quest Apartment Hotels website and other online platforms using SiteMinder.
• Organizing guest departures / arrivals according to procedures, responding to incoming calls etc. The position involves working closely with the Franchises Directors.
• Excellent customer service at all times.
• Knowing clients and guests personally & using their name.
• Attend to guest complaints and/or concerns in a prompt and professional manner according to Quest procedures to mitigate any loss of goodwill.
• In addition, there is a requirement to assume responsibility for the Management of the property in the absence of the Franchises Directors

The Ideal Candidate:

Previous hotel customer service experience and knowledge of hotel online booking systems is essential. Knowledge of RMS is an advantage.

The successful applicant will demonstrate a can-do, responsible, and flexible approach to work, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a passion for customer service, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, strong team building skills, and a strong appreciation of workplace safety.

Previous hotel customer service experience and knowledge of hotel online booking systems is essential. Knowledge of RMS, and experience with supervision or leading a Front Office Team would be an advantage.

Qualifications in the hospitality, travel or tourism industries would be highly regarded.

The successful applicant must be available to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
