Our Napier-based client is a recognized leading pet nutrition company not only nationally but globally, using only NZ locally sourced natural ingredients. We are currently on the lookout for a Toyo Filler Machine Operator to join their nightshift team.
The role:
As an experienced filler machine operator, you will be responsible for overseeing the filling and sealing process of pre-made pouches of air-dried products ready to be packed while maintaining a high standard of product quality. This is a high-speed automated production process; you will need to be mechanically minded. The ability to troubleshoot & problem-solving skills are essential for success in this role.

Hours of work:
Monday to Thursday 6pm to 6am (Nightshift)
Pay rate $30 plus p/h.
Role Requirements:
• Proven machine operating experience within a factory environment.
• Toyo Filler Machine Operating experience advantageous.
• Experienced Forklift Operator with current Osh cert advantageous.
• Familiar with GMP Food Hygiene and Safety and SOP in a factory environment.
• Must be able to record accurate data of all batches/orders.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable with a great work ethic.
• Good knowledge of Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Must have a clean criminal background.
