This role has now been filled.
Our Napier-based client is a recognized leading pet nutrition company not only nationally but globally, using only NZ locally sourced natural ingredients. We are currently on the lookout for a Production Operator to join their dayshift team.
Hours of work:
6am – 6pm
4 days on / 4 days off rotation.
The role:
• Assisting with the preparation & delivery of raw materials.
• Lifting to 20kgs of frozen product at times.
• Operation of production machinery.
• Overseeing batching machines, mixers, and mincing machinery.
• Preparation of product and lifting of trays onto drying trolleys.
• Cutting and weighing of product.
• Monitoring the production process.
• Clean down processes.
Role Requirements:
• Experience in food manufacturing or production processes.
• Ability to operate a range of production equipment.
• Must be mechanically minded.
• Basic to intermediate level computer literacy.
• Understanding of Health and Safety in the workplace.
• Must be a team player with excellent communication skills.
• Physically fit and able to lift 20kg at times.
• Must be able to work weekends.
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test.
• Clean criminal record.
