Forklift Operator

PAK'nSAVE Tauriko is seeking a skilled forklift/reach truck operator to join the team! The successful candidates will be joining a team of 200 and will bepart of a wider team of 22,000 Foodies across the Foodstuffs North Island co-operative.We have been a part of the Tauranga community for nearly six years now and in 2019 were named 'PAK'n SAVE Customer Driven Store of the Year.

The position mostly consists of loading and unloading pallets from the top racking, clearing the storeroom and grocery filling as required.

Hours available are:

Part time Night shift Forklift Operator- 9pm to 7.30am Saturday and Sunday

Grocery and storeroom Assistant- Sunday to Thursday 4am to 2pm

The successful candidates will:

• Have a positive attitude
• Be a team player
• Have excellent customer service skills, be able to meet and exceed customer expectations
• Have a co-operative spirit; be able to adhere to the store's values
• Be physically fit and able to able to fulfil the requirements of the role
• Have good written and verbal English skills.
• Be Health and safety focused

Experience desired:

• Customer service experience
• Food retail experience
• Forklift and reach truck experience
