We're actively seeking a stellar Administrator for our client, someone who excels in working swiftly, accurately, and autonomously. This role demands a keen sense of discretion and a commitment to maintaining privacy.

Working Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (with some out of hours work required)

Start Date: ASAP

Location: Botany, Auckland

Salary: between $74,000 - $87,000 p.a (negotiable on experience) 

Key Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and facilitate all aspects of board meetings, including scheduling, preparation of agendas and documentation, attendance, and minute-taking.
  • Maintain up-to-date board documentation, correspondence, and policies, facilitating periodic reviews and approvals.
  • Attend essential meetings, draft accurate minutes, and diligently follow up on action items
  • Manage personnel administration tasks, including recruitment processes, staff induction, and maintenance of personnel files.
  • Serve as the Returning Officer for board elections, ensuring compliance with regulations and timely communication of outcomes.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Principal.

The successful applicant will have:


  • A high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities, with proficiency in English.
  • Proficient in computer applications and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work effectively under pressure.
  • Previous experience in administrative or secretarial roles, preferably in the education sector.
  • NZ residency and a clean driver’s license are essential.
  • Ability to return a satisfactory Ministry of Justice criminal background check.
