Storeroom/Grocery Assistant

If you possess these skills and attributes then we have the role for you. You will support our busy storeroom assisting with stock receipting, moving and storage of pallet stock, unloading trucks and delivery vehicles this makes up around 50% of the role and the balance will be working in our Grocery Team. You will be an integral part of the wider Grocery team and be flexible to move from storeroom to shop floor as needed.
The successful applicant will be strongly team focused, display strong communication skills, be neat and tidy, honesty and an excellent work ethic.
In return we offer a good hourly rate, staff purchasing discount, training, set rostered hours and a great work environment in the heart of Te Awamutu. Hours of work will be rostered Tuesday to Saturday mornings.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work visa.
Full-time
- Have you had previous storeroom / warehousing experience?
- Do you have a current forklift license/F endorsement?
- Are you good with numbers, working methodically and accurately?
- Are you an organised self-starter who would enjoy playing an integral part of a busy store room?
- Can you deliver on agreed targets and excel at consistently delivering high standards?
- Can you build and maintain working relationships with many people in the organisation?
- Do you have GREAT customer service skills
