Our client is launching a new brand as the latest venture under the esteemed umbrella of their parent company. This sector will specialize in superior sous vide and culinary meat products tailored for cafes, restaurants, and food providers.

Our client's mission is to elevate culinary experiences by providing premium quality ingredients sourced from trusted producers.

As the Sales & Account Representative, you will be responsible for servicing the North Island of New Zealand, meeting existing clients, developing relationships with new clients, promoting the brand, and delivering the best possible experience while driving results and sales for the brand.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share in the assigned territory.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities by prospecting and cold calling potential clients, including cafes, restaurants, hotels, caterers, and other food providers.
  • Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with existing and prospective customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Collaborate closely with the marketing team to implement promotional activities, product launches, and marketing campaigns effectively.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges proactively.
  • Prepare and present sales proposals, quotes, and contracts to clients, negotiating terms and closing deals in a timely manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, address inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within the foodservice industry, with a track record of achieving sales targets and building client relationships.
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and techniques, with excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with a passion for sales and a drive to succeed.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel within the assigned territory.
