Electrical Estimator

**Your responsibilities:**

• Reviewing electrical plans, specifications, and scope of work to prepare comprehensive cost estimates for commercial, industrial, and residential projects
• Conducting site visits to assess project requirements and collect necessary data
• Analysing material costs, labour hours, equipment needs, and subcontractor pricing to develop accurate project bids
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to optimize estimates and ensure proposals are competitive
• Maintaining a database of historical project costs, productivity rates, and vendor pricing to inform future estimates
• Providing guidance and support to junior estimators to build their skills

**Requirements:**

• 3+ years of experience as an Electrical Estimator, preferably in the electrical industry
• Expert knowledge of electrical systems, materials, and installation methods
• Proficiency with electrical estimating software and MS Office suite
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines
