Location: Blenheim Central, Blenheim
Type: Full time/Permanent
Number of positions: 3
Pay range: $29.66 - $35/Hour
Days: Monday to Friday (occasional work on Saturdays)
Hours: A guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week with standard of 45 hours per week.

The Role:

• Preparing floors ready for new floor coverings Installation of new vinyl flooring.
• Coving of vinyl flooring.
• Welding of vinyl flooring.
• Fitting of finishing accessories for flooring.
• Water proofing and moisture treatment of floors.
• Installation of carpet tiles.
• Installation of carpet and underlay on smooth edge installation.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on flooring options.
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of installations, paying close attention to detail.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

About You:

• 3 years minimum experience.
• Knowledge preferred in installing a variety of flooring materials, including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile, and carpet.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and protocols.
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.
