Experienced Gardener

• Full-time work (Monday to Friday)

**Your new role**
We have an opportunity for motivated and experienced gardeners to join our gardening team based in Christchurch on a temporary full-time basis; this role could go permanent for the right person.
As a gardener, you will be responsible for the maintenance of gardens, parks and reserves on a reactive or scheduled basis in accordance with contract specifications. This includes garden maintenance, (planting and maintenance) basic weeding, line trimming, and mulching, pruning, using hedge trimmers and blowers.

**What you'll need to succeed**

• Enjoy working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Some general gardening experience is preferred, but full training will be given.
• A passion for the outdoors and the environment
• Experience in Spraying or Growsafe certificate is ideal but not essential
• Self-motivated and physically fit
• Health and Safety focused, with a positive attitude.
• Full Class 1 licence & own vehicle essential
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test
• Open to Working Holiday Visas - Minimum 3 months commitment
