Certified/ Registered Drainlayer

The Role:
I'm working with a variety of clients from Wellington to Bluff looking for certified/ Qualified Drainlayers and supervisors. If you're looking for a change of pace or location, this is the time to do so. Work on exciting projects and demonstrate your leadership in tasks given to you by supervisors, foreman and superintendents.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

• Excavating trenches and laying pipes according to project requirements,
• Operating heavy machinery including excavators, rollers and loaders
• Communicating with Managers and construction teams to meet targets (Daily, weekly and key milestones)

A successful candidate will have:

• A 2-5 years of New Zealand based experience in civil and residential and stormwater systems,
• A certified drainlayer ticket or be enrolled in an appropriate course,
• Hold a current Site Safe Passport,
• Ideally have W, T, and R endorsements,
• Hold a clean full class 1 or 2 NZ Driver's License,
• Have good written and verbal communication skill,
• Able to pass all pre-employment checks.
