Are you looking for a new role that combines fixing and maintaining machinery and equipment with plenty of variety and people contact?

Our client, has an exciting opportunity available for a mechanically minded person, with a proven track record of maintaining and fixing machinery either at home or in a work capacity.

No two days are the same, in this busy role so previous mechanical knowledge is essential to complete checks and perform repairs, maintenance and cleaning on various types of machinery or landscaping equipment. You will need to be reliable, show initiative and have good problem-solving ability with a willingness to learn new skills. Part of the role will also include administration so you will need to be competent on a computer with excellent verbal and written communication when dealing with customers, have a friendly and approachable demeanour and be tidy and well presented.

You will be working within a small team, so it is imperative that you are a team player and have a good sense of humour. Your working week will be 45 hours week Monday to Friday 7:30am – 5:30pm with a roster system for weekend work. Overtime is paid out at time and a half for any additional hours worked over 45 hours a week.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Clean Full Class 1 driver licence
  • F endorsement & OSH forklift (desired but not essential, this can be provided)
