About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Full Time Aircraft Loader Driver (officially titled, Agri Fixed Wing Ground Support) team member to join the team at Ravensdown Aerowork. This is our agricultural aviation business, providing aerial application of fertiliser and lime spreading to farmer clients. We operate fixed-wing aircraft covering many areas of the North and South Island.
Based in Te Kuiti and covering the King Country and Waikato, you'll be responsible for loading fertiliser and lime into our aircraft, as well as refuelling the aircraft during stops in a safe and professional manner, shifting loaders between airstrips, and daily maintenance on the loaders.
This role would ideally suit someone with flexibility to work increased hours during our peak seasons (Spring and Autumn). The hours for this role are variable and weather dependant, with early starts and weekend work required when busy. In return we offer an attractive base salary along with job commission for when you load the aircraft, medical insurance for you and your family and 5 weeks annual leave after completing 5 years of service.

About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Previous Heavy vehicle experience, (minimum 2 years of class 2 NZ Drivers Licence)
- DG endorsement/experience with transporting class 3 DG's highly regarded
- Experience handling heavy machinery or Earthmoving equipment highly regarded
- Flexibility and availability to respond to business requirements and weather conditions
- A high commitment to safety and quality
- Great communication skills
- Mechanical aptitude to troubleshoot issues and basic maintenance of equipment.
- Enjoy being part of a team, working closely with the pilots and other drivers
- A positive can do attitude
- Area knowledge of King Country and Waikato areas advantageous
- Live within 30 minutes travel time of Te Kuiti Airport
