So, the first pen costs $5.50 total delivered, two total $6.00, three total $6.50, etc. Rural adds an extra $6 to the courier satchel.

As long as it is NOT a rural address, I'll use a courier satchel. Rural adds an extra $6 to a satchel service. e.g., 10 pens to a rural address is going to cost you $5.00 for the pens, plus the normal $5 freight plus an extra $6 fee; $16 total.
