Boat is in Jacks Bay in the Catlins.
The Orange Ruffie was with the beach house when we purchased it. I don't know much of the history, but understand it is sea worthy, and has not left the bay. Currently just taking up space under the deck (it has been sheltered from the weather).
The boat is home built, fiberglass over ply. Seems sturdy, and has some nice lines. Would be a great lake boat, and if adding a small cabin, would be very stylish!
The trailer rolls, but would be lucky to make it to the end of the road. Some components look solid, well others are almost rusted solid.
This would be a great project for someone. I just want it gone to free up the space, and it is a shame to see it under the deck not being appreciated. Buyer would need to organise pickup of both boat and trailer.
