Why buy an ANCHORBUDDYNZ ?

1. If your boat has insufficient deck space to install an electric winch.
2. The cost on an electric winch is unwarranted.
3. On larger craft, with electric winches, you can retrieve dropper lines, scallop dredges and crayfish pots from the stern. If your electric winch fails, use the Anchorbuddy to lift your anchor, especially on larger boats.
4. When the sea is rough, anchor can be retrieved from the side of your boat safely.
5. If you dislike watching your wife haul in the anchor, and looking the other way doesn't improve matters; your mates moan at lifting the anchor to change fishing spots: or you are just getting old and lazy or have a sore back. Great for multiple lifts when dredging for scallops.

The Advantages of the ANCHORBUDDYNZ

1. It grips and holds rope of various diameters (6mm to 22mm). For dropper lines of 100-300kg solid nylon line, just add a short length of 6mm rope prior to terminal tackle for Anchorbuddynz to grip.
2. It holds and locks on to chain.
3. It allows shackles to pass through it.
4. It can be "opened" to be fed on to the side of rope or chain; does not have to be fed on from the end of a rope.
5. It lifts anchor to the surface about 10 times faster than an electric winch and does not use your battery power.
6. It can be placed on anchor rope when initially deploying anchor ready for quick retrieval.
7. Any suitable drum or buoy, (not included), can be utilised to support the Anchorbuddynz.
8. Once the power of your boat has lifted the anchor to the surface even a child can retrieve the anchor and system to your boat as no heavy lifting is required.
