Must sell as I'm off to welly.
A much loved Nova 28 called Karelia. I bought her as a project boat and wasted far too much time and money. Yanmar 12 inboard. All sails lines etc etc etc etc. so you are good to sail away immediately.
Comes with cool dingy and a new outboard. New lifejackets.
Mooring also included at Northcote point. Can also sign over the dingy locker at the same location. Which makes life really easy.
Anti fouled about 10 months ago.
No osmosis, no rot. But still lots of jobs to do.

Nice looking boat. r******2 (64 • 09:41 am, Mon, 15 AprSo a bit of a run down on the history: the guy before me bought it as a project boat, stripped the hull, applied a new coat of resin, and then applied an international epoxy paint system. new bungs, hoses etc. he did a very good job. If you talk to the guys about it a Northocote, they will confirm the quality of his work. Like all projects, he ran out of time, and i took over. I then stripped the deck, fixed a couple spots of rott, with glass. then out a coat of resin over everything, then ... bobbob87 (20 • Monday, 15 April 2024did the international 2 pot paint system, got undercoat, couple of mid coats, and a top coat. I was half way through, more top coat on the deck. so she still needs a lift scuff and more top coat (i was putting navy blue on the top). Had someone redo the wring to the batteries and bilge. and i painted the interior. Long story short - in terms of osmosis and rot, there was non as of the last time i had her out for an antifoul which was last year, and the small rot i found i did a good job on. It's good for another 2.5 years. Is the Auckland Council lease fee paid? It's roughly 240 $ a year . Due in June. The Auckland Council owns the mooring. You own the mooring hardware.There's no WOF to sort out with the Council. Once the mooring contractors service you're mooring and you pay them.
