1976 L508 Mercedes Bus

Sadly listing my 1976 L508 Mercedes Self propelled Caravan

Bought this beast last year as a Promo vehicle for business to set up coffee machine or just travel to festivals/gigs in style,Recently sold the business and no longer have the time to use it and Finnish her off

Currently the bus is in great running condition, Had an engine rebuild 2015 according to previous owner,but no paper trail as expected Is certified Left hand drive, and RUC is up to date Was Registered up till March this year and is now on hold as failed the COF last year due to a small list of things

We started going through the list and are nearly done, I will probably slowly continue repairs etc until it sells as I'm not hard up for cash, I just hate seeing something so unique and cool sitting in the driveway unused

Hardly costs anything to run ,Auckland and back less than $50

Has permit for self contained untill July 2018

When purchased I totally guttered inside and restarted as seen in pics, Its not quite finished but most things r there ready to do

Currently includes and working 3 way fridge ( Setup LPG) Oven/Burners (setup LPG) Waste water tanks,Fresh water tanks (quite large) Has Califont and all shower accessories but needs to be plumbed in Has Aux battery running to 600watt inveter Amp/speakers etc built into entertainment unit Have a 150 watt solar panel and acc still in box Brand new head unit New blinds installed Toilet has pull out tank via door on outside

Drives very well,seems long but wheel base is same as transit van so not hard to drive, can be driven on normal licence, 4 speed stick shift Not a speed machine off the line but she goes pretty damn well, so much fun to drive

Options are spend a few k getting her road legal again or keep it as a portable spare room
