2013 Nissan Leaf 24S
$3,600
Description
Saying farewell to our reliable friend, a 2013 Nissan Leaf 24S. It's been our companion for an incredible five years—a personal record! Every drive has been a delight.
However, our circumstances have changed, and we now require two long-distance vehicles. Unfortunately, a new electric vehicle with extended range isn't feasible, so we're opting for a hybrid.
Leafs are a joy to drive. We'll miss the thrilling acceleration. We've taken great care of it and it's groomed for its next owner. With 6 bars remaining, it offers a range of about 80 kilometers when fully charged. Our routine trip from Rolleston to Christchurch city and back leaves us with 20-25% battery. There’s free charging in parking buildings too! It’s charging now but I’ll add another photo showing the full range.
Here's what makes this Leaf great:
- Cost-effective servicing, requiring only a check-over every ~25,000 km
- Excellent tires, with two new Bridgestone tires on the front
- Well presented overall, evident in the photos
- Fully tinted windows for privacy
- Super spacious with ample boot space and legroom
- Full English dashboard conversion and manual
- NZ CD stereo with Bluetooth
- Heated seats front/rear, heated steering wheel
- Climate control
- High-spec LED headlights
- Garage-kept, ensuring flawless headlights with zero fading/yellowing
- Plenty of Rego and WOF remaining
- Two original keys
- Two charging cables, one for home and one for public chargers.
Why start bidding at $1? It's our tradition, ensuring a quick sale without hassle. This Leaf is in great condition and incredibly economical, costing us $9.90 per 100 km, including RUC – HALF the cost of a 91 petrol car that uses 6.8l/100km.
Happy to answer questions. Please text to view. I legally have to say 'as is where is' given the WOF is 28+ days old but rest assured, this Leaf drives perfectly.
We’re in Rolleston, but happy to deliver within range.
Thanks for viewing and good luck.
Questions & Answers
Forgot to add that we also upgraded all of the speakers front and rear. The front speakers are now component speakers with separate tweeters in the door. You can see them in front of the door handles. The standard speakers in Leafs are absolutely abysmal! Seller comment Sunday, 21 April 2024 How many kms to run if it fully charge???? t***2 (2 • 12:38 pm, Mon, 22 Apr )Hi Feauini. I have added a picture showing the dash range. Today I went for an economical drive around suburban Rolleston. I used 68% of the battery to do 64.8km. So a full 100% would give 95km. I was driving economically and at the speed limit and didn't use any heating as it was a warm day. Consider this best case. After recharging it again this afternoon it shows 98km range with climate control off, 81km with climate control on. Hope this helps. Mike mrl43 (755 • Monday, 22 April 2024 )My guess would be "about 80 kilometers" but I read the description : ) n*****e (1561 • 03:38 pm, Mon, 22 Apr )Hey Dave - yeah 80km is achievable but it would be around town km's. Charging the car after a Rolleston > Christchurch > around CHCH > Rolleston trip, the range shows 71. After an efficient drive today it's 81/98km depending on climate control. Ta, Mike. mrl43 (755 • Monday, 22 April 2024 )How much is a new battery? p*******u (202 • 07:31 pm, Sat, 27 Apr )Hi Anthony. As far as I know you can't buy a new battery. There is a place in Chch called EV's Enhanced that are (/were?) developing a battery replacement, but I'm not so sure they've managed to make it commercially viable as updates from them seem to have dried up. You can get used 30 or 40kWh installed in these cars. Cheers, Mike. mrl43 (755 • Saturday, 27 April 2024 )Is it registered for road user charges already, b*************s (13 • 09:22 am, Sun, 28 Apr )Hi Maye.
