Pontiac overview

Pontiac was an American automobile brand owned by General Motors that produced high-end cars between 1926 and 2010. Originally Pontiac was known for making Sedans, but by the 1960s had gained prestige for its fast and sporty performance cars.

On TradeMe, there is a broad range of preloved Pontiacs available. Our listings are a snapshot of Pontiac through the years, and they are as diverse in models as they are in asking prices.

Owning and driving a Pontiac is as exciting now as it was then, with the added bonus of being more unique nowadays (Pontiac sales reached their peak in the 1980s).

The Pontiac Firebird had various generations and can perhaps best be described as GM's answer to the Ford Mustang. It had a more stream-lined body than its cousin, the Chevrolet Camaro and started to turn heads when it was first produced in 1967.

Following on from that, the Trans Am was essentially an upgrade in handling, suspension and horsepower from the Firebird, with some slight appearance enhancements to boot.

These models, as well as more classic Pontiacs are available for you to browse and consider on TradeMe Motors, and the price tags fluctuate to meet most budgets.
