Description
1977 Greco P bass, made in Japan (Fujigen factory if I'm correct). Yeah, it's in rough shape (not surprising given its age). But this bass - if you know, you know. This is one of the so-called "lawsuit" basses that were too good of a copy that Fender USA started suing then buying the Japanese manufacturers, later becoming Fender Japan. Just a brief Google search should give you some ideas. Despite the cosmetic wears, this bass plays well and sounds nice too. The output jack can become slightly noisy in a certain cable position, but usually it doesn't happen and once you find the right spot with a bit of wiggle, the cable stays there so it's fine. Probably just needs a fresh solder. Currently has a D'addario chrome flatwounds. Selling since I'm not really a fan of vintage bass sounds, plus I can't justify having another bass, especially a precision.

Think this meant it was manufactured in September 1977? Will upload a close-up of the serial number. juliechoe68 (8 • Tuesday, 23 April 2024 )Seller added 1 photo Seller comment Tuesday, 23 April 2024
